Overview

We are undertaking a major program of work involving multiple projects spanning a number of current industry-leading technologies. The Office of the CIO (OCIO) seeks an experienced Integration Support Assistant Director to join our dynamic fast-paced team.
Duties
- Manage a team of support specialists, providing coaching and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage and co-ordinate the backlog of production incidents, change requests, and system enhancements across the Agencys integration platforms
- Develop and implement support processes and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient resolution of Integration related issues
- Implement state-of-the-art system logging, pro-active event monitoring, and automated alerting for the Agencys integration platforms using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
- Ensure support and operational activities are aligned to business prioritisation, ICT security and architecture patterns, and the Agencys overall strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure business objectives are met.
- Responsibility of the day-to-day running and operations of the Agencys integration platforms including all required activities and tasks to ensure availability, performance and usability of systems for users.
- Perform operational tasks including access management and provisioning, internal reviews, control implementation and service transition activities.
- Develop and provide ad-hoc and regular reporting to meet both technical stakeholder and executive stakeholder requirements.
- Identify areas of improvement, and implement solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Criteria
- More than 5 years experience working with API integration, ideally in a support/operations role
- Experience maintaining and administering APIs and applications using Mulesoft
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to manage competing stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining documentation on support processes, policies, and configuration
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working with the Atlassian suite, specifically Jira, Confluence and Service Desk
