Change and Release coordinator
Job Description:

This position is responsible for developing and managing the Change and
Configuration management process in accordance with ITIL best practices. The
Change and Release Coordinator ensures that all ICT assets, including hardware,
software, and documentation, are properly identified, recorded, and maintained in
the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Key duties include;
Establish and maintain change and configuration management policies and
procedures in accordance with ITIL best practice;
Develop and maintain the CMDB and ensure that it accurately reflects the
current state of the ICT infrastructure
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the change and configuration
processes and recommend improvements as necessary;
Conduct audits and reviews of the change and configuration management
processes and practices to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Change Management roles and hold
a firm understanding on the internal workings of Defence ICT and ITIL
responsibilities;
Experience within High Priority Incident Management;
Experience using the Defence Service Management System;
Proven client relationship management and able to translate technical issues
into clear business English;
Attention to detail with the ability to create high quality documentation and
procedures;
Practical knowledge of Change, Configuration, and Asset management (ITIL
V4 practices);
Practical knowledge of Incident and Problem management (ITIL V4
practices);
Experience effectively leading small teams of technical personnel (i.e. 5
people).
