SOE Support Engineer

 Job Description:

Australian Citizens residing in Australia only respond.

  • Patch Management, delivered through Microsoft Intune, SCCM and PatchMyPC
  • Manage and tune the whitelisting of Desktop Applications Currently using Applocker
  • Fault finding and rectification of OS and Application Faults
  • Clean up and remove redundant OS and application images
  • Clean up and remove redundant OS and applications
  • Support patching in line with the ACSC essential 8 requirements
  • Support application hardening in line with the ACSC essential 8 requirements
  • Maintain Documentation
  • OS and application Patch management
  • SOE changes and modifications
  • Application packaging in SCCM/Intune
  • maintain and advise of best practice in accordance with Essential 8 along with NMA IT security.
  • Tenders should provide their process (and cost model) for:
  • patching updates for non-MS applications, including options to patch when not connected to the Corporate Network
  • driver packaging and testing for new hardware
  • (re)packaging apps of low, medium and high complexity
  • methods of identifying SOE limitations and improvements
  • organisational support for documentation and reports.
  • types of testing procedures for automatic SOE and applications
