ICT Procurement Manager

 Job Description:

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in government procurement (Commonwealth) specifically the preparation and review of procurement documents including: approval documents, requests for quote, evaluation reports, work orders and purchase orders
  • Proven experience leading and managing procurement processes (e.g. ICT assets, systems integration providers, services consulting)
  • Experienced in developing and managing supplier contracts and resolves problems using vendor and procurement management expertise
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of government procurement, legislation and organisational procurement policies to conduct ICT vendor management
  • Ability to prepare procurement documentation, undertake sourcing strategies, and support evaluation and client contract negotiation
  • Analysing cloud spending, identifying cost savings opportunities and implementing cost optimisation strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Understands the commercial IT environment
  • Must hold and maintain a minimum NV1 clearance
  • Must satisfy a Nuclear Mindset Suitability Assessment (NMSA)
