Essential
·Minimum 8 plus years delivery & management experience in government and/or enterprise-level software development, including leading and
inspiring teams in a data-driven and goal-oriented environment.
·Extensive experience using and implementing Agile methodologies for delivery. Including a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum,
Kanban, etc.) and principles.
A track record of successfully leading and motivating Agile delivery teams to achieve maximum user value on time and within budget.
Experience in managing project budgets and resources effectively.
Experience using relevant technologies in software development including Azure DevOps.
Extensive experience in the leadership & management of technical and non-technical staff i.e. Developers, Testers, Analysts, DevOps Engineers
etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, as well as problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and roadblocks.
A passion for continuous improvement, with the ability to analyse delivery processes and identify areas for optimisation.
Desirable
Experience delivering agile projects under a Prince2 project board within scope, quality, and budget expectations.
Experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams and other Agile delivery managers.
A solid understanding of software development lifecycles and technical concepts, even if not a developer themselves.
Experience in using Agile metrics and reporting tools to track progress and measure team progress.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or other relevant Agile certifications.
