Key Capabilities

Extensive experience with VMware 7 (and previous releases)

Experience with VRealize Suite including but not limited to:

o VRA

o VRO

o Log Insight

o VIDM

Experience maintaining and supporting complex, business critical 24x7 services

Knowledge of Technology operations best practice, including patching, maintenance, standard operating environments and security Automation and scripting preferred eg. Advanced Powershell, Chef, Ruby, Python e.t.c.

Experience with Linux/Windows OS (as guests)

Exposure to Cloud technologies and practices

Experience with general server management (any OS).

Experience with Dell PowerMax storage desirable

Exposure to VMWare SRM desirable

Exposure to Active Directory

Experience and Qualification

5-10 Years proven IT experience managing, designing and implementing enterprise hypervisor (and storage also desirable).

Proven experience in troubleshooting and solving technical issues

Experience in a DEVOPS environment, continuous improvement and streamlining processes via automation

Experienced in working in a highly complex environment across multiple datacenters

Experience in mentoring staff and collaborating with a large cross functional infrastructure team
