Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent experience
  • Diploma or higher in Information Communications Systems
  • Certified SAFeĀ® Practitioner (mandatory for all COSPO personnel - can be completed upon engagement).

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in Change Management.
  • Qualifications in Business Analysis.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience working through the entire Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) process.
  • Prior training development or delivery roles within Defence or Vocational Education Training (VET) framework

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated experience producing and maintaining cmi5 standard content
  • Delivery of training in a Defence context
  • Previous experience with Atlassian Jira
  • Experience in performance metric analysis and reporting
  • Prior exposure to project management
  • Familiarity with systems engineering concepts
  • Experience with working in sustainment organisations or a similar field
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles

  • Review and maintain contemporary training needs and requirements for COSPO systems
  • Develop and maintain a training content governance framework for the ongoing management and currency of COSPO-authored training content
  • Produce and maintain training modules and/or content for COSPO systems to cmi5 standards.
  • Work with Learning Management Authorities for review and approval as required for COSPO training modules and/or content
