Position Overview

Wemedellinll work on short-form videos and, occasionally, long-form content (YouTube videos and podcasts). We want someone who stays ahead of trends, collaborates effectively, and brings a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality social media content. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Impactful Content: Edit engaging short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, with occasional work on long-form projects like YouTube videos and podcasts.
  • Stay on Trend: Keep up with the latest video editing techniques, trends, and tools to create fresh, innovative content.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Account Managers and Social Media Managers to align content with client goals and strategies.
  • Manage Multiple Projects: Handle multiple editing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining top-tier quality.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Leverage creativity to solve challenges and deliver content that resonates with target audiences.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Portfolio of Social Media Work: A portfolio showcasing short-form content for social media is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of video editing experience, with expertise in creating short-form content.
  • Knowledge of Editing Tools: Proficiency in CapCut is preferred, but experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools is required.
  • Familiarity with Trends: Strong understanding of the latest video trends, tools, and platforms.
  • English Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in English (minimum B1 level).
  • Team Player: Comfortable working in team environments and with multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Active in team chats and responsive to collaborative workflows.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Computer Requirements: A computer with at least 1TB of storage is a plus.
  • Creativity and Initiative: A passion for storytelling and generating fresh ideas to engage audiences.
