We are looking for a Content Specialist, experienced in a marketing, communications, or media environment, to support our client, a forward-thinking brand and marketing agency based in Abu Dhabi.
Overview
The Content Specialist is responsible for all written content produced under the programme. This includes English copywriting across digital channels, website content, editorial pieces, thought leadership drafts, and internal communications. The role requires a writer who understands government communications and can adapt tone and format across a range of outputs and audiences.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit content across social media, website, newsletters, presentations, and internal communications
- Develop thought leadership drafts and editorial content for review and approval
- Adapt content tone and format for different audience segments and channels
- Collaborate with designers and the Arabic Specialist to ensure consistency across bilingual output
- Maintain content quality and brand voice across all written deliverables
- Manage content calendar contributions and meet deadlines
- Support the Account Manager with written communications where required
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in content writing or copywriting within a marketing, communications, or media environment
- Demonstrable experience writing for government, public sector, or multinational clients
- Strong command of English with proven ability to write across multiple formats and tones
- Experience writing for digital channels including social media, websites, and newsletters
- Understanding of internal communications and executive-level writing is required
- Experience working in the UAE or the wider GCC region is an advantage
