We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Commercial Specialist to support the Business Development team in crafting commercial solutions for smart city technologies, including IoT, Video Analytics, and other cutting-edge innovations. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing pricing models, contract management, and commercial negotiations, ensuring that all proposals and projects are financially sound and aligned with business objectives. This role will work closely with the Business Analyst, sales, and technical teams to create comprehensive and profitable commercial strategies for smart city projects. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the Business Development team in developing and reviewing pricing models for smart city solutions and other emerging technologies. 
  • Prepare cost estimates, financial projections, and profitability analysis for smart city project proposals. 
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and commercial terms to ensure alignment with project requirements and company objectives. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that pricing, terms, and deliverables are aligned with client needs and expectations. 
  • Conduct market analysis to determine competitive pricing and identify opportunities for cost optimization. 
  • Support negotiation processes, ensuring that commercial terms are favourable while maintaining strong client relationships. 
  • Monitor and track project financials, budgets, and milestones, ensuring that commercial goals are met throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in all commercial dealings and documentation. 


Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or financial analysis, with exposure to technology-driven projects preferred. 
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing pricing models, contracts, and cost estimates. 
  • Strong understanding of business and commercial principles, particularly in the tech or smart city sectors. 
  • Previous experience working on proposals and contracts related to large-scale projects or technology solutions. 
  • Experience in project management and commercial negotiations.
