We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join the team and drive the sales of Smart City Solutions such as IoT platform, Video Analytics solutions etc. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and positioning technology to solve complex business challenges across various industries.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IoT and video analytics technologies, a proven sales track record, and a passion for driving innovation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for Smart City Solutions such as IoT solutions and Video Analytics solutions etc. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across potential clients in various industries such as retail, security, manufacturing, and transportation. 
  • Understand client needs, propose customized solutions, and conduct product demos to demonstrate the value proposition. 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of solutions. 
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. 
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets. 
  • Provide regular sales forecasting and reporting to senior management. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of proven business development or sales experience, preferably in IoT, Video Analytics, or related technologies. 
  • Strong understanding of IoT solutions, video analytics platforms, and their applications in real-world business scenarios. 
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving growth. 
  • Experience in B2B sales and managing complex sales cycles. 
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and other sales tools. 

Skills & Attributes: 

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Previous work experience with government sector. 
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business solutions. 
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and client-centric mindset. 
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and trust with clients. 
  • Knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies in IoT and video analytics.
