Senior Accountant

Seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of success in a real estate or property management company. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

- Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory filings.

- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

- Train and mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a real estate or property management company.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
