Pricing Executive - Freight Forwarding

Our client is a leading global freight forwarding and logistics company, and a major player in polymer-based freight forwarding, with operations across the US, UAE, India, Amsterdam and Singapore.

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pricing Executive to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. The Pricing Executive will work closely with the sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competitive pricing

- Develop pricing strategies for new and existing services, taking into consideration market demand, cost factors, and profitability goals

- Collaborate with the sales team to provide pricing support for bids and proposals

- Communicate pricing updates and changes to internal teams and external partners

- Analyze pricing data and provide recommendations for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and market trends that may impact pricing strategies

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and carriers

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Knowledge of international trade and logistics is a plus
