About the job Sales Manager-Freight Forwarding

Our client is a leading global freight forwarding and logistics company, and a major player in polymer-based freight forwarding, with operations across the US, UAE, India, Amsterdam and Singapore. They are looking for a driven Sales Manager-Freight Forwarding to join them. The role will be responsible for all business development activities to help increase market share and source new clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Explore and Win new opportunities on export, import and cross-trade.
  • Strengthen relationship with clients and follow-up on leads through regular meetings .
  • Build a quality strong pipeline of the clients and drive tactical sales methods to achieve it .
  • Ensure customer enquiries are promptly replied to, provide first-line support to customers for queries and act proactively to find alternative solutions as required.
  • Apart from Sea Freight opportunities also targets clients on different segments i.e. Warehousing ,Custom Clearance , Transportation to grow the organisation revenue.
  • Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts
  • Create regular reports for management and Sales meetings.

Experience required:

  • Mandatory experience with 8+ years in the freight forwarding and Logistics industry.

Role Criteria

  • Mandatory Bachelor's degree.
  • Mandatory Valid UAE driving license.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
