We are looking for a Senior Account Manager, experienced in a marketing, communications, or creative agency, to support our client, a forward-thinking brand and marketing agency based in Abu Dhabi.
Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
Overview
The Senior Account Manager will be the primary point of contact between the client and the production team. This role manages the day-to-day brief pipeline, ensures work is delivered on time and to brief, and maintains a direct line to the agency's strategic and creative direction.
The role requires someone who can operate independently in a client environment, manage upward and downward, and hold high standards of delivery across a complex programme.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site lead for all client communications and brief management
- Manage the job pipeline from brief intake to final delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Interpret and translate client briefs for the production team
- Coordinate between the on-site team and the agency's strategic and creative leadership
- Track programme deliverables, timelines, and approvals
- Manage stakeholder relationships across a government client environment
- Escalate issues and flag risks proactively
- Maintain programme reporting and status documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in account management within a marketing, communications, or creative agency
- Demonstrable experience managing accounts for government or large multinational clients
- Strong understanding of creative and content production workflows
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
- Experience working in the UAE is required
