Advisor - HSSE

1. Scope of work

Support the HSSE team with planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met. Ensure that HSSE requirements are widely and consistently understood and implement.

2. Primary Duties

Provide support to project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health,safety and environmental issuses.Support the HSSE manager in ensuring HSSE compliance and performing regular HSSE audits.

Ensure training,toolbox meetings and drills are implemented as part of the company's training and HSE program.ie,emergency response systems etc.

investigate and complete the process for closeout of all accident investigation reports and prepare/submit lessons learned for promulgation to the management.

Oversee day-to-day HSSE activities in accordance with designated areas of responsibility. Assistance in the implementation of HSSE component.

Assist in the development of project-specific HSSE procedures. Conduct HSSE training and orientation to all new employees as required.

Application of hazard identification and risk assessment processes in designated areas of responsibility and implementation of appropriate control measures to reduce the risks to ALARP.

Ensure HSSE requirements are communicated to all relevant personnel in designated areas of responsibility and verify compliance by all appropriate means(meetings,inspections, monitoring,and audits).

Promote HSSE awareness through in HSSE awareness campaigns.

Participate fully and openly in all compliance assurance audits, inspections, performance meetings,etc.

Carry out other related tasks as advised by the supervisor.

3.Job Requirement

University degree( minimum 4 years of bachelor's degree)

5 years of HSSE experience,3 of which is Oil&Gas site experience
