Purpose

IT Product Business Analyst will contribute to the development and enhancement of our IT products. He/she has a strong understanding of both business processes and technology, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. IT Product Business Analyst will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the IT solutions meet business needs.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the IT sector, with a strong focus on IT product development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to understand complex information and assess requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., BPMN, UML, Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience with requirements management and/or process modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with data analysis.
  • Azerbaijani and English is must, Russian is an advantage

IT Product Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews, surveys, workshops, and site visits to collect requirements from stakeholders and users. Analyze and critically evaluate the gathered information to resolve conflicts and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs.
  • Analysis and Documentation: Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and requirements. Create functional specifications, use cases, and user stories to clearly communicate requirements to the technical team.
  • Solution Design: Work with the development team to design IT solutions that meet the business requirements. Ensure that the solutions are viable and align with business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between the business units, technology teams, and support teams. Communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Quality Assurance: Prepare testing documentation (strategy), Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that the delivered system is functional and meets the business requirements. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Training and Support: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for users. Provide ongoing support and system enhancements as needed.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use this information to make informed recommendations for product features and enhancements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data from various sources, including user feedback, performance metrics, and market research to identify trends, issues, and opportunities. Prepare reports and presentations to share findings and recommendations with the product team and senior management.
  • User Experience Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that the product design meets the user requirements and provides an excellent user experience. Participate in user research activities such as user interviews and usability testing.
  • Change Management: Lead change management activities by preparing and implementing change management strategies and plans. Facilitate communication and training to ensure a smooth transition when new systems or features are launched.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and partners, if applicable, to ensure that their products or services meet the project's requirements and standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with product development or system changes. Work with the project team to develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of implemented solutions, identify areas for improvement, and work with the development team to optimize the product.
  • Feedback Loop Management: Establish and manage a feedback loop with users and stakeholders to gather insights and identify opportunities for product enhancement. Prioritize feedback based on impact and feasibility.

Terms and Conditions

  • The IT Product Business Analyst will be mainly based at Smart Solutions Office facilities.
  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Workday: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
