Junior Business Analyst Role

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming business needs into clear, actionable insights for our development team. You will work closely with the Product Owner, follow structured processes, and contribute to the entire product lifecyclefrom Customer Journey Mapping (CJM) to Proof of Concept (POC). Your curiosity, research skills, and ability to visualize ideas through Figma will be essential in ensuring smooth communication and alignment between stakeholders and the development team.

A Week in the Life of a Junior Business Analyst:
You collaborate closely with the Product Owner, actively listening to requirements, understanding priorities, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
You break down business needs into structured requirements, documenting them in a way that is clear for both stakeholders and developers.
You map customer journeys (CJM) to understand user needs, identify pain points, and ensure solutions address real problems effectively.
You conduct research and competitive analysis to gather insights, validate assumptions, and provide data-driven recommendations.
You manage and communicate with the development team, ensuring they understand priorities, scope, and expected outcomes.
You create wireframes, process flows, and low-fidelity prototypes in Figma to visualize requirements and improve clarity.
You track progress and follow Agile processes, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and product demos.
You ensure continuous learning, proactively seeking feedback, improving your skills, and adopting best practices in business analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Agile methodology: Understanding of Scrum or Kanban, comfortable working in an iterative development environment.
Analytical mindset: Ability to break down complex problems, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
Curiosity & research skills: Eager to learn, ask questions, and explore different perspectives before making recommendations.
Development team collaboration: Basic understanding of how development teams work, with a focus on clear communication and expectation management.
Visualization skills (Figma): Ability to create wireframes, process diagrams, and prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.
Communication skills: Comfortable translating business needs into structured, actionable requirements that developers and stakeholders understand.
Process-oriented thinking: Ability to follow structured workflows from CJM to POC, ensuring consistency in product discovery and delivery.
