Our client is a regional consumer goods company with operations throughout Asia and one of Thailands Cosmetics and Infant Care Market Share leaders as well as a distributor for some of the worlds most popular brands throughout Asia. They manufacture a wide variety of products from milk powder and pharmaceutical goods for children to high-quality cosmetics. Currently, they are looking for a HR Manager to join their team in Bangkok and lead their operations and employees in Thailand.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing all HR operations and processes including recruitment, compensation and benefits, HR policies, and performance evaluation and feedback, and overseeing general administration. The HR Manager will lead a small team of three and report directly to the Managing Director and the Finance and Operations Director. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

  • Manage all HR (Human resources management and development) operations and processes.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment of new employees and conduct orientation programs upon starting.
  • Evaluate employee feedback and prepare employee training and development programs to upskill employees.
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews to recommend changes and improvements.
  • Administer periodic pay survey, job evaluation, and plan and implement pay structure revisions.
  • Prepare for periodical employee assessments, feedback, and OKR assessments for performance evaluations.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits for employees, from processing benefits claims to assessing benefit trends and recommending programs to management.
  • Manage, maintain, and update employee records and data.
  • Lead HR projects.
  • Act as the contact point for employees and provide support and advice on HR-related matters, such as resolving grievances.
  • Update, oversee, and enforce HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance to company policies and legal regulations.
  • Maintain an understanding and stay updated on labor laws and ensure HR practices comply with laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external parties such as the Department of Labor and Insurance companies.
  • Manage general administration and office supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to a degree level in General Management, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of working experience in a HR Management role with mid-managerial level, preferably within the consumer goods or related industry.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of HR principles, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with employees and management.
  • Ability to lead and advise team to achieve goals with strong leadership.
  • Ability to address and resolve HR conflicts efficiently.
  • Highly detailed with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to generate and interpret HR reports.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
