About the job Head of Commercial
Our client is the Thailands eCommerce platform in the beauty and healthcare sector. Formed by a group of experienced entrepreneurs, our client has formed one of the most well know online platforms for their customers to find and get unique promotions and a full-service online booking platform in Thailand. Established in Thailand in 2018, our client has grown into Thailands leading healthcare booking platform and continues to experience significant growth, and due to that, they are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to take on a crucial role in the company's growth and drive revenue.
This sought-after position will be leading and managing the sales team including hiring, training, motivating, and advising the sales representatives of the team to onboard new partners/ vendors onto the platform. The Head of Sales will be reporting directly to the expatriate CEO and the overall duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
- Achieve the company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to onboard new vendors and drive business growth.
- Work with various departments to pinpoint opportunities to improve products/ services and expanding into new markets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to gain insight into current trends and market and create effective sales strategies.
- Generate leads whilst building and nurturing client relationships.
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships.
- Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach staff, and monitor performance ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.
- Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitoring progress regularly.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to a degree level in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 8 years of proven experience in sales management roles within the online platforms or e-commerce industry.
- Proven track record of implementing successful sales strategies and processes.
- Very good command of both spoken and written English and Thai.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Superb leadership ability with the ability to motivate a high-performing sales team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to think strategically with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
