Our client is a multinational savory food flavoring and ingredients manufacturer from the Netherlands who sells technically based applications to the worlds food manufacturing sector for more than 40 years. In Thailand, they operate both a manufacturing facility as well as a Regional Sales and R&D Center. Due to the significant growth, our client now has an opening for an experienced Production/ Demand Planner to organize and optimize production based on demands.


The Production/ Demand Planner will be responsible for optimizing and organizing production according to demands and ensure timely and smooth production and distribution of goods in a cost-effective way that meets quality specifications. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics team to determine customer requirements and demands to plan production accordingly and deliver goods to customer on time.
  • Forecast timeline for project completion and adjust schedule as needed for efficiency.
  • Create and manage production schedule including monitoring progress, controlling material, and releasing process orders to ensure on-time completion.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to inventory and production issues to minimize delays in production.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments on any updates in the production schedules and resolve issues on planning among related departments.
  • Record incident report related to food quality and safety.
  • Report progress, discrepancies, operational results, etc. in the schedule.
  • Promote and foster safe, optimum, and positive working conditions.
  • Ensure that the workspace is properly maintained to have optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Food Science or Food Technology, Process Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • At least 1 3 years of experience as Production Planner or Demand Planner in operational management within the Food Industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai.
  • Work well under pressure and able to function in a high-volume setting with tight deadlines.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent analytical skills and high attention to details.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, business processes, quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards), and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Pro-active and independent worker.
  • Able to work with people from different levels in the organization.
