Our client is a globally known multinational luxury brand with retail operations in the worlds most sought-after retail locations. Established in Europe in the early 1900s, our client has grown into one of the worlds largest Luxury Good Group in the world and one of their most popular fashion brands is seeking a Training Manager to take on a crucial role in their Thailand operation in the following capacity.


The Training Manager will be working closely with the Senior Training Manager SE ASIA to define the training needs of the retail teams for Thailand market based on business needs, design, implement and deliver training and learning interventions to elevate the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our retail teams. The successful candidates overall duties and responsibilities re outlined as follows:

  • Identifying training needs of your markets, curating and implementing training interventions to support retail teams to achieve their business goals
  • Designing, developing and delivering effective in-person and virtual training programs relating to brand knowledge, collections, selling ceremony and client experience
  • Delivering training programs with local adaptation to support the needs of the retail teams, not limited to new store openings, product knowledge, CRM, selling skills training, local & regional workshops.
  • Adapting and executing the new hire induction program and work with Store Managers / Training Ambassadors to ensure impactful onboarding journeys.
  • Preparing and adapting training materials necessary for the respective training programs
  • Conducting post training follow-up with participants to ensure effectiveness of the program and reinforce the application of skills learned in training activities
  • Conducting in-store observations, role plays, and coaching for Retail teams to ensure high standards of client service and knowledge to support them in meeting their objectives
  • Proposing, planning and managing annual training budget for your market
  • Working closely with Central for the implementation of global training initiatives & programs
  • Planning and implementing projects to support retail learning e.g. retail seminars, retail recognition programs, store teambuilding, etc.

Qualifications:

  • At least a bachelors degree in business, or a related subject
  • 6+ years of training experience in a retail environment, ideally in luxury fashion
  • Experience in facilitating both product and soft skill training
  • Candidates who are Certified Trainers will be advantageous
  • Strong Passion to develop, motivate and help others achieve performance goals
  • Strong business acumen with field coaching experience in luxury retail industry
  • Good understanding of retail and strong client service mindset
  • Energetic, pays attention to details, self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Excellent planning, presentation and communication skills, creative & think out of the box
  • Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel, Powerpoint and Teams)
  • Knowledge of and ease with digital learning platforms
