About the job HR Operations Manager
Our client is one of the worlds most renowned, dynamic, and innovative esports and gaming startups that focuses on building and scaling communities, content, and intellectual properties across the gaming ecosystem. The company aims to create and nurture diverse gaming and esports ecosystems by collaborating with content creators, professional esports teams, and gaming influencers. With a keen emphasis on community engagement and entertainment, the company leverages its extensive network to deliver unique and immersive experiences for gaming enthusiasts. Established in Singapore in 2019, it quickly expanded its markets into Southeast Asia including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Currently, they are looking for an HR Operations Manager to support their organization in the following capacity.
The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all HR operations and processes including payroll, compensation and benefits, HR policies, performance evaluation and feedback, and OKR assessments. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:
- Manage all HR operations and processes.
- Create, oversee, and enforce HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance to company policies and legal regulations.
- Ensure HR processes are followed and performed properly including salary reviews and increases, bonuses, promotions, terminations and resignations.
- Act as the contact point for employees and provide support and advice on HR-related matters to create a positive workplace.
- Administer compensation and benefits plan, including preparing performance-based bonuses.
- Handle and prepare payroll accurately and timely.
- Prepare for periodical employee assessments, feedback, and OKR assessments for performance evaluations.
- Evaluate employee feedback and prepare employee training and development programs to upskill employees.
- Oversee end-to-end processes using Bamboo HR and update annual holidays, manage leave requests, update employee data, and create reports.
- Prepare HR reports for management to review.
- Lead HR projects to improve employee experience.
- Maintain an understanding and stay updated on labor laws and ensure HR practices comply with laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to a degree level in Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of working experience in a HR Management role (startup or E-commerce/ Tech environment is a plus).
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
- Knowledge and strong understanding of HR principles, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience in Payroll and administering performance-based bonuses.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with employees and management.
- Ability to address and resolve HR conflicts efficiently.
- Highly detailed with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to generate and interpret HR reports.
- Prior experience with HRIS software (Bamboo HR is a plus).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
