Our client is a global leader in providing color, special effects, and functional additives to a variety of industries. With operations spanning multiple regions, our client specializes in delivering high-quality, customized solutions for plastic manufacturing, enhancing the functionality, appearance, and sustainability of products across sectors such as packaging, automotive, consumer goods, and construction. They are now looking for a Regional HR Director to work closely with the regional leaderships to provide strategies and plan to support the regional HR function.


The Regional HR Director will be responsible for managing the HR function for the assigned region. This includes working closely with the Corporate HR and executives to provide strategic direction and ensure operational excellence. The aim of this role is to attract, retain, and develop talents that meet the regions business goals and support the companys value-driven culture. The overall responsibility of this role is outlined as follows:

  • Develop and implement HR plans and strategies to support the business objectives while clearly communicating the companys mission and strategic vision.
  • Partner with the regional GM to set and align annual and long-term HR goals and priorities, ensuring these are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Provide regional leadership and guidance to maximize talent potential by overseeing career and leadership development, succession planning, performance evaluation, and training.
  • Lead the regional HR team, balancing local, regional, and global HR priorities effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and companys HR policies in all employee life-cycle activities, such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Monitor the implementation of the regions HRIS.
  • Oversee workforce programs to maintain a positive work environment, including proactive labor relations, conflict resolution, and employee complaint investigations.
  • Manage accurate and timely renumeration processes including payroll, compensation and benefits, and salary adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher and/or certifications in Labor Relations, Organizational Design, or Business Management.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience at senior management/ leadership level, with experience in working with regional teams.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and change management.
  • Strong communication in Thai and English. Working knowledge of Mandarin or Hindi is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, well-organized strategic thinker, and a great team player.
  • Proven ability to remain impartial, discrete and exercise executive judgment.
  • Ability to manage many work streams simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and management skills.
  • Cross-functional business understanding.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition and hiring for diverse and complex roles.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel domestically/ internationally.
