About the job Sales Order Management
Our client is a multinational savory food flavoring and ingredients manufacturer from the Netherlands who sells technically based applications to the worlds food manufacturing sector for more than 40 years. In Thailand, they operate both a manufacturing facility as well as a Regional Sales and R&D Center. Due to the significant growth, our client now has an opening for a Sales Order Management professional to support in their supply chain department in the following capacity.
The Sales Order Management Officer will be responsible for local and international transportation management and handling all sales orders including the booking of all sales orders, and import & export shipment activities. This sought-after position will be required to work aligning with the European timezone and its overall duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
- Handling and processing customers order efficiently and accurately by providing the customer confirmation notifications, and communicating with customer if any additional or special requirement is needed
- Performing order entry in the system including entering the sales order, entering shipping documents according to customer's and shipping requirements with complete documents to ensure on time delivery
- Communicating with vendor to monitor the efficient arrival of purchased product and provide regular shipment update to cutomers
- Responsible to liaising and working closely internally and externally for both inbound and outbound deliveries arrangement
- Responsible for the movement of materials to a warehouse location in preparation for shipment
- Participating in quality management system activities and doing reports on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring the shipping documents to customers are correct and on time
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration / logistics, preferably someone graduated from a university in western country
- 2+ years international experience in order processing, shipping, receiving, and import / export operation
- Background in the food industry is highly preferred
- Experience and knowledge of using SAP, MS Office suites and Outlook is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and a good team player with pro-active attitude - Administrative, record-keeping with attention to details
- Strong problem-solving skill and with ability to work under pressure and multitask jobs
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Thai.
