About the job Senior Manager Strategy and Transformation
Our client is a large global jewelry manufacturing company, renowned for their customizable and handcraft jewelry pieces that are high quality. Established for over 40 years ago, our client has become a leading global jewelry brand, and they have a manufacturing plant and several store operations in Thailand. Due to the continuous growth, our client is seeking a Strategy and Transformation professional to take on a crucial role in the following capacity.
The sought-after position will be responsible for the Supply & Corporate strategy management and the strategic analysis for our clients global company.. This will involve developing, planning, and deploying the Supply & Corporate strategy and the overall duties and responsibilities are outlined as below:
- Conducting extensive market research, benchmarking, and business analysis to gain insights on the overall macro-economic situation, industry trends, consumer behaviors etc.
- Analyzing business & supply information (e.g., performance, forecast) as well as overall competitive landscape of the jewelry industry to assess and identify threats / opportunities.
- Supporting in translating Companys strategies & strategic goals to Supply & Corporates
- Coordinating with the Team and Clusters on corporate & supply strategic initiatives and cross-functionally collaborating and moderating communication/feedback channels among the team and global stakeholders.
- Facilitating cross-functional workshops with the leadership team to formulate new strategy and ideate the strategic initiatives and functional initiatives to deliver the strategies as well as improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.
- Conducting strategic projects feasibility studies in collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Developing detailed project charters for newly formulated strategic initiatives with clear objectives, scope, plan, deliverables, and milestones
- Collaborating with the Leadership Team to gather relevant data and insights for executive presentations and reports.
- Developing compelling, informative and visually appealing presentations or reports to communicate of supply & corporate strategy status and progress highlighting key achievements, milestones, and risks findings, and future directions to various stakeholders
- Developing strategic recommendations based on research findings and supporting the management decision making process for Supply & Corporate strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, engineering, economics, or finance
- At least 5 years in strategy consulting with globally recognized consulting firms
- Project management (traditional & agile) skills with proven experience with cross-functional team or management to gain the alignment and decisions is required
- Experience working in an international firm with cultural diversity is preferred.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Thai
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Analytic and problem-solving skill with critical and logical thinking and a can-do attitude
