The company aims to create and nurture diverse gaming and esports ecosystems by collaborating with content creators, professional esports teams, and gaming influencers. With a keen emphasis on community engagement and entertainment, the company leverages its extensive network to deliver unique and immersive experiences for gaming enthusiasts. Established in Singapore in 2019, it quickly expanded its markets into Southeast Asia including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Currently, they are looking for a Senior GL Accountant to support their organization in the following capacity.


The Senior GL Accountant will be responsible for the comprehensive management of inventory and financial records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance, and effective collaboration across departments. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accurate inventory records, tracking quantity and value.
  • Document and monitor merchandise inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, returns, and adjustments.
  • Calculate the cost of goods sold.
  • Reconcile inventory accounts by comparing physical inventory with accounting records.
  • Prepare and check general ledger entries/ journal entries and ensure proper documentation is provided.
  • Maintain fixed assets register.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports within deadlines.
  • Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Review withholding tax and value-added tax in accordance with regulatory directives.
  • Reconcile bank transactions.
  • Prepare monthly merchandise sales reports and verify inventory.
  • Prepare and review bank and other balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Support various departments and senior management and needed.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to a degree level in Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in GL Accounting, or in a similar Accounting role in a startup or E-commerce environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly detailed with the ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Prior experience with financial software such as Xero and Thai Tax is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
