LPG Driver

Job Description

LPG Operative - Driver Responsibilities:

• MGV and HGV articulated driving license required
• ADR Dangerous Goods License (Training can be provided)
• Carry out Daily Vehicle safety checks
• Safe loading and unloading of cylinders and trailers
• Cylinder filling
• Customer deliveries to Various Customer across the Island including domestic and Commercial customers with Bulk Tanks or Cylinders
• Loading and unloading of LPG from road tankers
• Maintenance of plant and equipment
• Assist with testing and alarms and other associated safety equipment
• Participate in relevant training courses and subsequent assessment
• Undertake, implement, and assist with risk assessments
• Regularly inspect the Site and equipment to ensure they operate safely and correctly
• Co-operate with safety audits and inspections carried out by management and other staff
• Report any accident, incident or near miss to the relevant company authority and assist with any subsequent investigation
• Participate in ship discharges (if needed to support the La Collette Team)
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and relevant approved codes of practice
• Undertake other duties, as and when required, to ensure the efficient operation and presentation of the LPG business (i.e. general gardening, washing of vehicles, painting, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Must take part in the On call Drivers Rota.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Driving license, including Class C or C1.
• Police check
• Good Communication skills
• HGV Driving Experience,
