A ServiceNow Engineer is responsible for managing and developing the ServiceNow platform ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various modules while providing technical governance and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day management and development of the ServiceNow solution, ensuring it meets business needs and technical requirements.
  • Technical Governance: Own the technical governance for development activities, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Workflow Development: Develop and modify ServiceNow workflows, forms, lists, business rules, and UI components to enhance platform functionality.
  • Integration and Customization: Provide solutions through configuration and/or customization, including user interface adjustments, workflow administration, reports, data imports, and third-party software integrations.
  • Support and Maintenance: Serve as tier 2 support for ServiceNow, addressing incidents and ensuring the platform operates smoothly

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and HR Service Management practices.
  • Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ITIL are advantageous
