Facilities Technical Engineer

Job Description

• Feel Connected to the future by joining the Facilities team as a Facilities Technical Engineer in Guernsey working 37.5 hours per week.
• To drive the role forward, the individual will ensure the critical areas are operated and maintained in line with industry standards across the group. This will include daily walkarounds and escalating any issues via Service Now.

Qualifications

• Experience in a critical equipment environment and with power distribution systems.
• Isolation of systems relevant to permit to work including fire suppression systems, fire and security alarms.
• Knowledge of data centre structure and the ability to operate in a methodical and efficient manner, data centre power cabling and fire and security systems.
• Ability to manage workloads, work independently to meet short term goals, and communicate effectively with relevant parts of the business.
• Individuals applying must have a valid, clean driving licence.

Please note the successful applicant will be required to join a callout rota in order to provide out of hours cover that includes nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
