Associate Software Engineer (PHP/Laravel Full Stack)

Our client, a leading software solutions provider for the education sector in Gampaha, is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer with expertise in PHP/Laravel Full Stack development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel frameworks for full-stack development.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applications for performance and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and knowledge-sharing sessions to continuously improve development practices.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks to implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 1 - 2 years of experience in PHP/Laravel full-stack development (fresh graduates with strong projects or internships are welcome).

• Solid understanding of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to new technologies.
