Company Overview:
Our client is a leading industrial engineering solutions provider in Colombo, delivering reliable and energy-efficient steam and mechanical systems to diverse clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by developing and closing high-value capital equipment sales across target industries.
- Lead, motivate, and guide the business development / sales team to achieve strategic and operational targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, principals, and industry decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partners while expanding the enquiry pipeline.
- Manage commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and post-sale customer engagement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance, ensuring timely MIS and reporting.
Requirements
- 10 - 15 years of proven experience in capital equipment or utility equipment sales.
- Engineering qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related disciplines.
- Experience in capital equipment sales in Sri Lanka or the Maldives with an engineering background is an added advantage.
- Strong industry exposure with an established network of senior decision-makers.
- Demonstrated capability in business strategy, enquiry generation, and order conversion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and local languages.
