Senior Investment Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor global markets and industries, evaluating multinational firms to help clients make informed investment choices.
• Carry out independent background research and compile findings into investment research documents.
• Develop and update financial models, using them to produce forecasts for analysis.
• Utilize appropriate valuation techniques for different sectors and businesses.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to review research methodologies and refine investment insights.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors to enhance research quality.

Requirements

• A relevant business, economics, or accounting degree, or completion of professional certifications like CIMA, ACCA, CA Sri Lanka, with CFA qualifications being advantageous
• At least 6 years of experience in related fields, such as Investment Research, Corporate Finance, or Banking.
• Ability to craft clear, well-structured investment theses by thoroughly understanding company operations, and summarizing insights in concise investment recommendation reports.
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and managing deadlines under pressure.
