Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all manufacturing equipment to ensure operational efficiency
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance strategies aimed at minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment lifespan.
  • Evaluate production processes to identify and address areas for continuous improvement, enhancing overall productivity
  • Lead and manage engineering projects, including the introduction of new products, equipment upgrades, and process innovations
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, set clear timelines, and manage budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related professional qualification
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer
  • A minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years focused on food production
  • Hands-on experience within the coconut industry, especially with boilers, dryers, oil expellers, and filters, is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of food quality control and safety standards, including ISO 22000 and HACCP Food Safety and Quality Control procedures, is required
  • Applicants must be male and under 50 years of age
