Assistant Manager Engineering & Maintenance

Responsibilities 

• Supervise daily engineering and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with operational standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Oversee service contracts, contractor performance, and vendor relationships related to facility operations.
• Implement energy management practices and contribute to sustainability goals.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide swift resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for fire systems, elevators, and building infrastructure.
• Prepare technical reports and assist in budget forecasting for maintenance and capital improvements.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers while promoting a safety-first work culture.

Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities management or engineering operations.
• Familiarity with building systems such as HVAC, power distribution (HT/LT), elevators, fire protection systems, and automation tools.
• Exposure to ISO 50001 or other energy efficiency frameworks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving ability, leadership acumen, and project coordination experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
