Assistant Manager Production

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, scheduling, and overseeing daily production activities.
• Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operations, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure that production targets and deadlines are met.
• Assist in maintaining consistent product quality by adhering to food safety regulations, quality standards, and production protocols.
• Address quality-related concerns in collaboration with the Quality Control (QC) team, ensuring prompt corrective actions are taken when necessary.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to identify and implement process improvements, aiming to optimize production flow, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting on production volumes, downtime, and quality issue.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
• Experience with coconut or plant-based food manufacturing is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, food safety regulations, and equipment management.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
