Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets through proactive strategies
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients for business growth and retention
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, ensuring smooth communication
- Lead client meetings with a results-oriented and customer-focused approach
- Monitor market trends and industry developments, providing timely updates to stakeholders
- Strengthen relationships with principals, agents, and other key stakeholders in the shipping and logistics network
- Provide detailed and transparent sales reports on a weekly basis
- Gather and analyze market information to support strategic business decisions
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the sea freight or logistics industry
- Professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing (SLIM/CIM), or Business Management from a recognized institution
- Proven experience in building and managing long-term customer relationships
- Strong ability to maintain a robust and satisfied customer base
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- An advantage if the candidate has established relationships in the shipping or logistics industry, including freight forwarders
