Executive / Senior Executive Documentation and Customer Service
About the job Executive / Senior Executive Documentation and Customer Service
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of documentation and customer service for our logistics and supply chain operations
- Process and track orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates on order status and resolve any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions and shipments
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and other vendors to ensure smooth and cost-effective transportation of goods
- Monitor and analyze transportation costs to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements for international shipments
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall processes and customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor junior team members to ensure a high level of performance and development within the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in documentation and customer service in the logistics and supply chain industry
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and requirements
- Experience with freight forwarding and customs clearance processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in training and mentoring junior team members is a plus
