Category Manager - Home Appliances

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability for the home appliances category
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop pricing and promotional strategies
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing for the company
• Monitor sales performance and make necessary adjustments to achieve targets
• Analyze sales data and provide insights to improve product assortment and customer satisfaction
• Train and mentor the sales team on product knowledge and selling techniques
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments to provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of home appliances and market trends
• Proven track record of driving sales and profitability for a product category
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
