General Manager - Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team, ensuring they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to drive growth and profitability
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Manage the performance of the engineering team, setting clear goals and objectives and providing regular feedback and coaching
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in engineering technology to drive innovation within the company
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
