About the job Product Specialist - Laboratory Products
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends in the laboratory products industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, including product design, pricing, and marketing strategies
- Monitor product performance and make recommendations for improvements or updates based on customer feedback and market trends
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and marketing materials
- Train and support sales team on product features and benefits to effectively promote and sell products to customers
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to showcase products and gather insights on market trends and competitor offerings
- Work closely with the R&D team to provide input on new product development and product enhancements
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers in the scientific community
- Provide technical support to customers and sales team, troubleshooting any product issues and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute product launch plans and campaigns
- Monitor and analyze product sales data to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for product strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, such as biology, chemistry, or biochemistry
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or product marketing in the scientific industry
- Strong understanding of laboratory products and their applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of successfully managing product life cycles and launching new products
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with product management software is a plus
