Responsibilities

  • Ensure workplace safety by communicating and enforcing Safety, Health, and Environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct safety assessments and address gaps in safety protocols.
  • Lead the production team, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Production Planner to develop realistic production schedules.
  • Oversee 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices, conducting audits and ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of machinery.
  • Implement and review operational standards, ensuring compliance within set timelines for optimal performance.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a relevant field, or proven experience in food manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food production or related fields.
  • UHT (Ultra High Temperature) or culinary operations experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Sinhala.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and coaching.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adhere to production plans.
