Production Supervisor

Responsibilities 

• Manage and oversee daily production activities, ensuring that operations run smoothly and meet planned production schedules, output, and quality targets
• Lead, train and mentor production team members to enhance their skill sets, promote a positive work environment and ensure adherence to safety and operational protocol 
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma projects, to drive ongoing enhancements in production efficiencies, quality and cost control 
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure all items meets the company's quality standards 
• Monitor raw materials and supply levels required for production, coordinating with the purchasing team to maintain sufficient inventory levels and prevent production disruption 
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports on production metrics, including output, waste reduction, and resource utilization

Requirements

• Diploma or BSc degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field 
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in ceramics, porcelain or related industries 
• Knowledge of production process and quality standards in the porcelain or ceramic manufacturing industry 
• Strong leadership and supervising skills
