Responsibilities 

  • Lead hiring efforts by working with department heads to meet staffing needs and create job descriptions
  • Manage payroll, benefits, and salary reviews to remain competitive in the market
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and implement programs to boost morale and reduce turnover
  • Set up systems for regular feedback and professional development, and organize training sessions to improve skills
  • Ensure HR practices follow local labor laws, and regularly update company policies to stay compliant
  • Identify skill gaps and provide training to help employees grow and prepare for future roles
  • Work with senior management to align HR efforts with company goals and track HR performance with data-driven insights

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field A Masters Degree or professional HR certifications (CIPM) is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 2 years in the Managerial level
  • Proven ability to lead and manage an HR team, Strong decision-making skills and a strategic mindset to drive HR initiatives
  • Thorough understanding of Sri Lankan labor laws, compliance standards, and employee welfare practices
