Assistant Manager - Finance
About the job Assistant Manager - Finance
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards (SLFRS/IFRS)
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to guide financial decision-making
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to optimize company resources.
- Conduct cost analysis and expense control to improve financial efficiency
- Manage banking operations, including fund transfers, forex transactions, and loan repayments.
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate payroll processing and statutory payments (EPF, ETF, etc.)
Requirments:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA Sri Lanka/ CIMA / ACCA/ CMA / CPA or equivalent qualification (part or fully qualified)
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferably in a managerial role)
- Experience in SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
