About the job Assistant Manager - Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the core banking system. Help with data mapping and migration
  • Review current business processes, suggest improvements, and create process flow diagrams
  • Act as a link between stakeholders, the project team, and vendors
  • Ensure the system design meets business needs by working with vendors and internal teams. Help validate the system during user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Create and run test cases to check system functionality. Oversee UAT, track issues, and ensure all problems are fixed before going live
  • Keep stakeholders updated on project progress, potential risks, and changes throughout the project
  • Identify training needs and work with vendors to create training programs, user manuals, and materials for both classroom and remote learning

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or equivalent qualification including work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years in banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of core banking software, business process management, and project management methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or similar are an advantage
