About the job Assistant Manager - Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the core banking system. Help with data mapping and migration
- Review current business processes, suggest improvements, and create process flow diagrams
- Act as a link between stakeholders, the project team, and vendors
- Ensure the system design meets business needs by working with vendors and internal teams. Help validate the system during user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Create and run test cases to check system functionality. Oversee UAT, track issues, and ensure all problems are fixed before going live
- Keep stakeholders updated on project progress, potential risks, and changes throughout the project
- Identify training needs and work with vendors to create training programs, user manuals, and materials for both classroom and remote learning
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or equivalent qualification including work experience
- Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years in banking or financial services
- Strong knowledge of core banking software, business process management, and project management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or similar are an advantage
