Head of Liner Shipping

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive strategic plans for the Liner/NVOCC division aimed at achieving specific business goals and objectives
• Implement strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and industry best practices
• Conduct regular assessments and adjustments to strategic plans in response to market dynamics and business needs
• Lead and oversee the budgeting process for the Liner/NVOCC division, including the preparation of detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Monitor budget performance closely, identifying variances and taking corrective actions as necessary to ensure financial goals are met
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by establishing and maintaining high service standards, addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively

Requirements:

• Candidates should have more than 5 years of experience in the Liner/Freight Forwarding industry, functioning in a comparable role
• Solid understanding of Liner/NVOCC operations, shipping regulations, and best practices
• Academically and professionally qualified to a sufficient degree
• Possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in IT
• Fluent in English, with effective communication, correspondence, and negotiation abilities
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to collaborate effectively within a team
