Engineer - AC Service, Breakdown & Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems, particularly split-type Air Conditioners
• Handle and resolve technical breakdowns efficiently to minimize system downtime
• Ensure proper inspection and maintenance routines are followed to prolong equipment lifespan and optimize performance
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring timely service delivery
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and service activities using ERP and corporate systems
• Coordinate with the team to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and service procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering from a recognized institute
• A minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years specifically in the service, maintenance, and breakdown repair of air conditioners
• Expertise in diagnosing and handling issues related to split-type Air Conditioners
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to work on a range of air conditioning units
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for troubleshooting and repairs
• Effective communication skills with the ability to manage clients and team members
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently
• Familiarity with ERP and other corporate management systems for tracking and reporting purposes
• Fluency in English and Sinhala is essential; fluency in Tamil is considered an asset
