Responsibilities
- Develop and establish comprehensive quality goals, converting them into policies, guidelines, or directives.
 - Supervise all quality-related operational activities, including the implementation of quality checkpoints, and the inspection and analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
 - Formulate and implement the company's quality standards to align with customer expectations
 - Provide guidance on various problem-solving methodologies such as 5S, cause and effect diagrams, and scientific approaches to address quality issues that arise during production and related activities.
 - Ensure manufacturing processes comply with standards at both local and international levels
 - Evaluate customer requirements and ensure they are fulfilled.
 
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Production, Manufacturing, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field is required.
 - Applicants must have at least 8 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
 - Familiarity with ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000, IFS, BRC, and Organic Certification is mandatory.
 - Having a certificate in Production and Inventory Management or Operations Management is also beneficial.
 - Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Sinhala, along with a positive attitude, are essential.
 - The position is open to male candidates under 45 years of age, who are prepared to work extended hours and demonstrate a strong commitment to their duties, even under stress.
