Head of Business Intelligence Analysis

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enhance forecasting models using advanced analytics and BI tools to predict revenue, costs, cash flows, and other key financial metrics
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and patterns to improve accuracy in forecasting
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure forecasting aligns with business objectives, budgetary goals, and market conditions
• Generate regular and ad hoc financial reports with clear insights, analysis, and visualizations to support executive decision-making
• Monitor actual business performance against forecasts and identify areas of improvement or adjustment
• Utilize tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL to extract, transform, and visualize data for improved forecast accuracy
• Assist in scenario planning by simulating various financial outcomes based on different market conditions or internal factors
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and business drivers that impact financial performance and forecasting accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
• Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and financial forecasting within the finance sector
• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), statistical analysis, and advanced Excel functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret large datasets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with financial reporting, budget forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
